How do I need to power a bass amp that is heard on drums and guitar? Basically a small concert. 50W Ampeg is good for small gigs?
Sorry, 50W is probably not enough = – is a good power amp for practice (or some minor interference), but certainly not for the concerts … However, if the amp has a line output can be plugged directly into the sound system and just use your amp as a monitor on stage – a lot of bassists do. Also, I heard say cheaper Ampeg amps are not the greatest. In general, when a concert, you want to at least double the watts to the guitarist (S) – three times is even better. Under simply need more force to pump these low frequencies and is still heard in the mix. I would say that 100 watts is acceptable for a guitar against the competitors, but against a guitarist and a drummer, you'll have trouble cutting through. How does an electric violin sound with a bass amp?
E string sounds a bit severe shaking of an amplifier. I was wondering if using a bass amp to be a little soft. How does the sound when using a bass amp?
This is more like a problem in compiling a problem amplifier. You can test it on a bass amp, it does not hurt anything, but I think you'll see that the problem is still there. I do not know what type of collection system is used in the violin I can not help.
