Guitar Practice Amplifier
Recommend an electric guitar (metal) amplifier for me please?
Basically I'm a beginner guitar for learning acoustics, but I consider myself a fast learner. I have the intention of getting an electric soon, can you please recommend an amp for me (since my last question, someone said amplifier is more important than the guitar). I will want to play metal music metalcore / (but do not want the metal sound of old, For example, Iron Maiden and Pantera). I will also play at home for something you can be sure would be nice. I have no idea how much a good amp should cost, but not want anything too expensive (preferably 200-300ish but I do not know). And I also heard there are amplifiers in practice what they are and are they good? Health
Hi, I have some kind of agreement with what he said. Well, the amplifier can not be more importaint the guitar, but I think it is important. Propose a plan beginner spending half the budget of the amplifier. A great guitar player, through a crap amp its going rotten. A guitar played by a mediocre amplifier Goodwill decent sound. So many beginners are more concerned about the pills that have or are the strings are the amplifier and speakers. I do not think that the practice amp many acquaintances (the jobber from 15 to 20 watts). I think these are something that toys for children, not to do with music. I am opposed to these are the speakers. The small 6 inch speakers and 8 inches from nose me. If you play metal, you need a better speaker. Of course, you can modify an amp sounds good. I have one that I turned on the head and throw some decent speakers in an extension of the cabin. But why a beginner should worry about that. So I suggest you stay away from them, regardless of brand. Since you are a beginner, you do not know what a good amp and good speakers. Therefore, follow this simple rule in purchases and it is probably safe to buy an amplifier first. Search for a combo with 12 inch speakers (S). A combo is the one that has both the amplifiier and speakers in the same cabinet. The opposite is the battery, where the receiver is in the front and the speakers are in a separate box. Whatever brand you decide on, if available 12-inch speaker (or two), it will be a very good amplifier. Of course there are combo with 10 inch speakers, but since you do not know an amplifier to a amp ugly, just limit your search to one with 12 speakers. Furthermore, keeping the amplifier within your budget, try to find a good deal on an amplifier used. You can buy a better amplifier used for the same price as a new lower amp. It makes your money work harder. Check your classifieds, Craigslist, dealer, etc.. Also look on eBay. I see many good 1×12 or 2×12 combos sold at very attractive prices. Marks, not as important as I said before, but still needs some ideas. Fender, Vox, Peavey Crate, Marshall and Line 6 amps all look good. Kustom vintage Like batteries, but they are expensive now. In your budget, you will not find full tube amp. However, there are many very good solid state amplifier. And for beginners, solid state is probably better, because you do not have worry about the care and maintenance. You simply press the solid state switch and start playing. Fender amps are probably my favorite, but I do not I think they are better for metal. I'm also very fond of vintage Vox amplifiers, solid state but again, I do not like metal. That leaves Marshall, Peavey, boxes and line 6. Marshall is always a good choice for metal. Is the Peavey. However, I suggest that their number one choice of line 6 1×12. It's a little versatile. You may be satisfied by the effects of the explosion. If not, add a distortion pedal area of metal 2. In general, I suggest you take the best offer you can find in a 1×12 or 2×12 combo that is a Line 6, Marshall and Peavey. Then down boxes and Vox. Finally (my pet) Fender.
